It is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer. GC UV HALS 9449 shows low volatility and a high concentration of stabilizing piperidyl moieties. GC UV HALS 9449 is especially used in polyolefins. Main application is thick cross sections and films of thickness > 100 micron.
