STARCELL POR 60 U is a talc-based masterbatch in a polyethylene matrix. STARCELL POR 60 U is used as nucleating additive in polyethylene and polystyrene foams. The talc Mistrocell® M90 is a fine talc with good performance in expanded thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers. It provides outstanding cell nucleation and increases cell density without diminishing mechanical properties. Mistrocell® M90 enables manufacturers to reduce material weight and improve stiffness at lower densities, in packaging and automotive applications. STARCELL POR 60 U is suitable for use in food contact applications.
